A few helpful questions

How does personalization work?

After you place your order, you’ll upload your child’s photo and fill in a few details through our personalization form.

Our system then creates a character inspired by your child and places them into the story as the hero.

For physical book orders, we send you a free PDF preview within 24 hours after payment, so you can review it before printing. From the moment you receive the preview, you have 12 hours to request changes or cancel the order. After that, the book moves into production.

What do I need to upload?

You only need one good photo of your child.

For the best result, choose a photo where:
• your child is facing the camera
• the face is clearly visible
• the lighting is bright and even
• there is only one child in the photo

You can always open our Photo & Preview Guide on the product page before uploading, where we show examples of what works best.

Will my child really look like the character?

Yes — our system is designed to carefully preserve the details that make your child unique.

The illustrated character is created to reflect features such as:
• ethnicity and skin tone
• eye color
• hair color and hairstyle
• glasses
• hats or other headwear
• hearing aids
• earrings and hair accessories

That said, preview images are created with advanced AI technology, and sometimes the automated preview can show small visual inconsistencies or style issues. This is a normal part of the preview stage.

Before production begins, every book is carefully reviewed by our team and adjusted when needed to make sure it meets our quality standards and stays true to the story.

What exactly do I receive?

This depends on the version you choose.

At the moment, we offer:
• PDF-only
• Hardcover book + PDF

If you order a physical book, the PDF is currently included for free.

The exact version selected for your order is always shown on the product page and in your cart.

How long does it take to create my book?

For physical books, you’ll receive your free PDF preview within 24 hours after payment.

After that:
• you have 12 hours to request changes or cancel
• once approved, your book is printed and dispatched within 5 business days

Shipping time depends on your country and the shipping method selected at checkout.

Is this book available in other languages?

Yes — currently our books are available in English, Latvian, and Russian.

The currently available languages are always shown:
• on the product page
• inside the personalization form

We also use professional human translators to help keep the stories natural, warm, and child-friendly.
And we’re actively working on adding more languages in the future.
